"One of the things I truly love about this program is how the learning never stops just because class is over. I can’t tell you how many conversations I’ve had in the Caf about justice, human nature, power, God, and various other topics we’ve been discussing in class. The material is so deep and so valuable that you never want to leave it alone." -- Aaron

CURRICULUM | University Fellows courses encourage students to think deeply about what they believe and why. In addition to a four-semester Great Books sequence, Fellows study rhetoric, biblical perspectives, calculus, scientific inquiry, leadership, and global studies. Our seminar style courses foster student participation.

BROCK SCHOLARS (BUSINESS MAJORS) | The Brock Scholars major is an imaginative, demanding, and competitive program of study designed for University Fellows business majors. Brock Scholars are selected through a rigorous application process. The program allows students the flexibility to create their own unique curriculum, coupled with international travel, student research, and internships. Click here to learn more.

LEARNING COMMUNITIES | Most of the Fellows core curriculum courses are taught in learning communities of no more than 14 students. For example, first semester freshmen who take Dr. Metress’s Western Intellectual Tradition 101 course also take Dr. Wright’s Writing & Rhetoric course. This allows for connected and shared learning experiences across the core curriculum. In effect, this model creates a 7:1 student-to-faculty ratio in the core classes.

ACADEMIC ADVISING | University Fellows benefit from personalized academic advising through-out the college experience. Our students have the opportunity to work with both University Fellows advisors and major advisors. This ensures that students graduate on time and make the most of academic enrichment experiences such as study abroad, summer workshops, undergraduate research, and scholarly conferences.
